Do They Hate Me or Something?

I HATE MY STEPMOM!!! The kid's inaugural party was last night, and I got to see about half of it. But I have to be in my room by 9, and it lasted until 9:30. I tried to call my dad to see if I could stay up to watch it, but he didn't pick up his phone. So I asked my stepmom, and she said no!!! AND THE JONAS BROTHERS HADN'T BEEN ON YET!!! I tried to explain that it was educational, but she said no, just because I didn't go shopping with her earlier in the day. To start, I don't like my stepmom, and I hate her taste in clothes, so I didn't want to go shopping with her in the first place. I didn't tell her that, because that would've made everything worse. And my dad wouldn't let me watch the live chat on Sunday, or go over to Kayla's house on Saturday, AND SHE WAS BEGGING!!! I didn't do anything wrong, I just didn't do any work around the house. No one ever asked me to work around the house, and who goes around looking for work to do? We are remodeling our downstairs, and I'm not allowed to touch the tools. I cleaned my bathroom last week, and my dad doesn't care if my room is clean. I cleaned the stairs, but was that enough for Mr. Grumpy Pants? Of course not!!! WHAT KID HAS TO EARN EVERYTHING THEY GET IN LIFE BY DOING WORK??? I understand having to earn big things, and doing work to get ungrounded, but why do I have to earn going on the computer to see something I had been looking forward to for two weeks?
